My Policies

I take great pride in providing safe, legal service for all events we attend. We have developed and adhere to a strict policy designed to insure both safety and protection for al.

Hosting an event with alcohol requires a great deal of responsibility for all involved and should be managed with absolute responsibility and professionalism

You have spent a great deal of time planning and have invited your closest and dearest friends and family to celebrate your special event.

I want to take every possible precaution and measure to insure that everyone celebrate in a safe environment, so that all can have a great time without jeopardizing the safety and well being of others.

Alcohol Serving Policy

The following are a few of the steps I take to preserve safe and responsible celebration at all events:

· Minors will not be allowed to handle, serve, or consume alcohol MCL 436.1701

· Shots of alcohol will not be served MCL 436.1801

· Alcohol containers will remain behind the bar and will always be managed by the bartender

· Pitchers of beer will not be served (Possible minor consumption)

· Guests who appear to be over intoxicated will not be served MCL 436.1801

· Servers are not allowed to accept cash for drinks or to sell alcohol to anyone (alcohol is purchased retail by host) R 436.1011

· Alcohol will not be served during the last 30 minutes of the event

· Host must be of legal drinking age and provide server with a copy of valid identification at setup and to reserve event R 436.1527/MCL 436.1203

Please understand that this policy was designed for the safety and protection of all, and that many of these items are also required by law. Michigan Liquor Control Commission requires that we adhere to the Michigan Liquor Control Code of 1998 and any other laws that apply to the sale, use and consumption of alcohol.
